These are the very large trout swimming about in Willow pond. The water was so clear today that I have tried to capture the size of these fish. The largest is about 9lbs and five years old.

At the front of the park Peter our gardener has battled with the Heron, Otters and small children to rescue the plants and fish over the last 4 years to get these results.

The slipway here at Tralee is ideal for the day sailors among us. You can launch from the beach if the wind is very strong from the south west. The bay is a great place to sail from. The tides are not too strong. If we get very strong winds over a few days then the waves can pick up. These conditions are usualy reserved for the Autumn months with sea breezes over June, July and August.

Mr Jones and his family stayed at Tralee over half term and took these great shots of the beach at dusk.
