Argyll Charters specialises in scenic, wildlife cruises in the Sound of Mull and around the islands in the Firth of Lorn Special Area of Conservation. All cruises depart from the Corran Esplanade Slipway, Oban.
MV Mara Mhor
Argyll Charters’ new, spacious catamaran, Mara Mhor, was purpose built for the 2006 season. She runs smoothly and quietly, her twin Perkins engines producing a top speed of 18 knots and cruising comfortably at 14 knots.
The catamaran build offers unparalleled safety and stability in all weather conditions because of the dual hulls and twin engines. She has a flat, very spacious deck area with wheelchair access. The vessel has a large shelter deck, where you can sit and enjoy the fresh sea breeze or should the weather take a turn for the worse, passengers are welcome in the roomy wheelhouse from where excellent views can be had just the same.
