WAVERLEY is the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Magnificently restored with towering funnels, timber decks, gleaming varnish and brass. See and hear the mighty engines - they will provide a whiff of nostalgia for some but are sure to impress all! Step aboard for DAY, AFTERNOON and EVENING CRUISES from Oban North Pier. Dates for 2010 are 28th May - 1st June.

Paddle Steamer Waverley is operated by Waverley Excursions Ltd and supported by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society.

Driven by a 2,100 horse power triple expansion diagonal steam engine, this ship has two bars, dining saloon and accomodates up to 800 passengers.
